Jerry Jeff Walker San Antonio Concert reviews
Jilly from Philly
"I am a hardcore Jill Scott fan! But.. I have to say I was very disappointed at the number of songs that Ms. Jerry Jeff Walker performed...:he did the classics "He Loves Me", "Golden" "A Long Walk" etc... But I was stumped when I did not hear "Blessed" , "So in Love " " Crown Royal" and " So Gone. Another factor might be that there were 2 opening acts and poet-not nexessary. But I expected more - I am not quite sure if she sang 10 songs. At the last moment I purchased tickets for myself and a very good friend for her 50th bday. Also, I suspect that the weather played a part - maybe even requing Jill to cut her stage time. We had excellent seats and Ms. Jill gave 100 plus .. Overall I love Jerry Jeff Walker and I love to see him live when possible ...but in my opinion and several other concert goers that I asked he did not perform enough of his songs."
